WHAT A GREAT CONCERT!

It was just like a trip in a time machine back to the 60’s and 70’s while listening and watching the band and the crowd. The sound of the group was as good as if not BETTER than they were in the 60’s and 70’s. They even added another member to the band, bringing the total to nine members.

A testament to the popularity of Mouse and the Boys was that the tickets for the concert SOLD OUT so quickly. There were even some ticket scalpers in the parking lot before the concert began. (or maybe it was just a bunch of bald guys).

The Woman’s Club on Riverside Avenue was “packed to the walls”.There was standing room only after the “good seats” filled quickly. The audience was represented by all age groups from babies to groupies in their 80’s.

Those in their seats couldn’t contain themselves after only a few minutes and were on the dance floor either dancing or swaying back and forth in time with the music. Thunderous applause greeted the beginning and ending of every song.

I don’t know whose faces and bodies were perspiring more, the band members who were performing so hard and well or the undulating audience who were dancing, swaying or just generally “getting down”. But who cares about sweaty, wet clothes and smeared makeup when you can hear such great talent after all these years?
